Ingredients

Instructions

  • Combine Ingredients: Add the oat milk, maple syrup, vanilla, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and black salt (if using) to a jar, blender, or cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously or blend until combined and foamy.
  • Serve: Pour over ice, adding a shot of spiced rum or bourbon per serving if desired. Garnish with extra nutmeg, a cinnamon stick, or star anise if you like.
  • Store Leftovers: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Shake or mix again before serving as the spices will settle—this is normal for plant-based drinks.

Notes

Barista Oat Milk Recommendation: For the creamiest texture and best foam, I recommend using a Barista oat milk like Oatly Barista Edition or Earth's Own Barista Oat.
Oat Milk Substitute: Feel free to substitute oat milk with your favorite plant-based milk, such as soy or almond.
Versatility: This oat nog is perfect as a holiday cocktail, a creamy addition to your coffee, or even stirred into your oatmeal for a festive breakfast twist.
