Christmas is just around the corner! And though most people love the holiday season, sometimes coming up with that perfect gift idea can be a little stressful. Especially when that "gift idea" is a "vegan gift idea"! Well, have no fear because I'm here to share the list of my 21 Best Vegan Gift Ideas (that everyone will love)..whether they are vegan or not! This vegan gift list has all of my favorite goodies, treats, and gadgets that everyone will want.

What do you buy a vegan for Christmas? Answer: anything you think they'll love! Just make sure your gift is void of any animal products. Most people know that means avoiding meat and cheese, but veganism also means avoiding fish, eggs, dairy, honey, and also non-food animal products such as leather, wool, silk, and beeswax.
It may seem a challenge to shop this way if it is new to you, but there's a TON of amazing presents that you can get a vegan for Christmas! This list is packed with ideas that are perfect for new vegans or people who have been vegan for a long time. There are the best vegan gift ideas for the cooking enthusiast, and gifts for those who are new to the kitchen. There are higher-end items and very affordable options. These gifts will not only "wow" that special vegan in your life, but these would truly make special gifts for anyone, vegan or not! So let's dive in, shall we?
21 of the Best Vegan Gift Ideas:

3. Vegan Cookbooks, $14+
This bestselling cookbook is all about smart tips and easy techniques that simplify cooking. Many recipes are one-pot, freezer-friendly, and make-ahead meals, creating a stress-free kitchen. So whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert, I have thought of everything to help get delicious, fuss-free meals on the table in no time flat. This book busts the myth that vegan cooking is hard, expensive, and time-consuming by sharing vegan recipes that are 10 ingredients or fewer, for $10 or less, and can be made in 30 minutes or less.
This is bestselling cookbook is the cookbook I wish I had when I went vegan: one that recreates and veganizes the dishes I loved most in my pre-vegan days, like fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon, cheesy jalapeño poppers and pizza pockets, creamy Caesar salad and macaroni and cheese, rich chocolate brownies and holiday-worthy pumpkin pie, to name just a few. (And there’s no hummus recipe in sight.)
4. Tofuture Tofu Press, $28
Tofuture is my absolute favorite tofu press and the best vegan gift idea for someone who is new to working with tofu. So much so, that I have two of them! If the person you're shopping for doesn't own a tofu press, this would make a brilliant vegan gift idea! Pressing tofu gives it a whole new texture and feel. Pressed tofu can be used to mimic the texture of various meats and can really add a whole new dimension and spin to your vegan dishes!
5. Stainless Steel Cookware Set, $274
You don't need the largest set, but a decent selection of pots and pans will last you for years. I'm a big fan of stainless steel for its durability and ease of use. They last much longer than most non-stick pans, and because the handles are also stainless steel (instead of wood or plastic handles) it allows you to use these pans in the oven as well.
6. Movie Theatre Popcorn Air Popper, $25+
I use my air popper almost daily! It has a little place to melt your vegan butter, and I love that I can control exactly what's being added to my popcorn. To make this gift even better, try pairing the popcorn maker with popcorn kernels, vegan buttery-flavored popping oil, and flavacol (the salt that makes it taste like movie theater popcorn)!
7. Spiralizer, $23
A Spiralizers turns veggies into noodles! How fun is that!? This is the perfect gift for someone who wants to get more veggies in. With several stainless steel blades and settings, this Spiralizer can tackle zucchinis, carrots, and even harder root vegetables like sweet potatoes and turnips. This Spiralizer even comes with 4 recipe eBooks and makes for a great gift.
8. Vitamix Blender, $332
When you're ready to invest in upgraded kitchen equipment I would recommend the first piece you get is a quality blender. Not only can you make smoothies, but I use mine to make everything from all sorts of sauces, pumpkin cheesecake, vegan cheeses, coffee cream, pasta sauces, salad dressings, soups, dips, and more. The most popular high-powered blender is hands down a Vitamix, but I also love Blendtec, $380 and Breville Super Q, $500. This is an expensive gift idea, but a real show-stopper! Or, I mean, you could also buy yourself a gift too, right? 😉
9. Instant Pot, $89
Who doesn't love an Instant Pot? Going by the number of emails I get a week asking if my recipes are compatible with Instant Pot, I can safely say that this guy has become one of the most popular kitchen gadgets around. And for good reason! According to their site, this "multi-cooker combines 7 kitchen appliances in 1: Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Maker and Warmer, prepares dishes up to 70% faster to support your busy lifestyle." Sold!
10. Cosori Air-Fryer, $120
I'll let you in on a little secret: I love my air fryer. Like, really love it. I think I use it at least once a day, whether it's to make a full meal or just blast something back to life. I say this with confidence: you will never forget the first time you take that special snack out of your air fryer for the first time. So CRISPY! So GOOD. All with little to no oil needed! It even revives foods like cold pizza, stale nacho chips, or that take-out order of (insert fried food name here) that showed up a little soggy or cold. This is a magic machine. You'll love it. Ok, gushing over. This is up there with the popcorn popper as one of my favourite vegan gift ideas! 😀
11. Vegan Staples, $29 (estimate)
These are truly the essentials to any vegan kitchen. Nutritional Yeast which tastes cheesy, Black Salt (kala namak) which makes things taste like eggs, and liquid smoke which adds a smoky meatiness to dishes. These are unique ingredients that even the most experienced of home chefs may not have. But they are all must-haves for any vegan home chef and make for a thoughtful, gift.
12. Gardyn Indoor Vertical Garden, $800
This definitely makes my list of "most favorite things in my house"! I partnered with Gardyn recently and on top of them being just the best people to work with (their customer support is amazing), the Gardyn itself is so freaking cool!! No green thumb needed. This Gardyn waters and lights itself and only takes up 2 square feet of space so you can put it anywhere in your house-no windows needed! I have not bought lettuce, arugula, dill, basil, or thyme in what feels like forever! And now I'm starting to grow jalapeños, baby eggplants, and a bunch of other goodies. Use the discount code: SamTurnbull and get $100 off!
13. Bath Tray, $30
I was secretly hoping someone would gift me one of these bath trays for years (although I never asked anyone for it). Eventually, I caved and bought one for myself, and I'm so glad I did, I now look for any excuse to take a long bubble bath.
14. Grosche Tea Steeper, $25
These tea steepers are game-changers! Recently, Adam made the move away from coffee and is strictly drinking tea. So, we started buying all sorts of fun new loose leaf teas for him to try out and we got a pair of tea steepers. I gotta say, tea has never tasted so good! And they're super-cute and fun! The perfect gift idea for the tea drinker in your life 🙂
15. Vegan Snack Box, $43

For that snack-crazed loved one (I married one), get them this incredible box of vegan snacks chock full of vegan cookies, jerky, protein bars, chips, fruit & nut bars, and more!
16. Very Good Butcher Box, $99
Plain and simple: the Very Good Butchers do very good work. Full stop. I love the Very Butcher products and we typically have one or two of their plant-based meats living in our freezer for those nights where we say, "feel like a burger, sausage, etc.?" And holy moly, are they ever good! This ultimate box of vegan meats contains goodies like plant-based Burgers, Sausages, Taco, Pulled Jackfruit, Ribz (my favorite) & Pepperoni! Yum!

IS THERE A PROMO CODE FOR THE VERY GOOD BUTCHER BOX?
Sam Turnbull says
I don't have one, no.
Sophie says
Does the handheld milk frother actually work with almond milk? The reviews on Amazon seem to imply this only works with cow's milk.
Sam Turnbull says
Not all plant-milks froth well. So you need to buy a plant-milk that is specifically designed to foam for best results. They are usually called "barista". My favorite is Eath's Own Barista Oat. 🙂
Susan says
Love all your suggestions, going to make the dog biscuits for all the family fur babies.
I would love to get the almond cow and pretty much everything else.
Thanks so much, love your book.

Wonderful! I hope your doggies enjoy!

Sam Turnbull says
