Introducing the viral Christmas Tree Drink – the coolest sip for the holidays! It's like having a tiny Christmas tree right in your glass. Whether you're rocking the booze or keeping it booze-free, this drink has you covered. A sprig of fresh rosemary is frozen in place in the middle of your glass, looking just like a festive tree. You can fill your glass with any flavor of clear sparkly beverage such as a gin and tonic, vodka soda, a virgin drink such as a rosemary citrus sparkler, or your favorite clear sparkling soda. I've included several drink recipe ideas below. These cute holiday cocktails will be a hit at your next holiday bash. Cheers!

To make your Christmas tree drink, secure a sprig of rosemary upside down in the middle of a glass using a string and some tape.

How to Make a Christmas Tree Drink:

To make the Christmas Tree Drink:
Take one sprig of rosemary turn it upside down so that the rosemary leaves point down and place it in a freezer-safe glass. Use a piece of string and tie a knot around the stem of the rosemary, then use tape to secure the string on the glass so that the rosemary spring is propped up in the middle of the glass.

Repeat to make as many glasses as you like.

TIP: Glasses that are wider at the base and slope inward at the top (such as these glasses) work best to help stop the ice from floating to the top.
Once the rosemary is secure add a few cranberries or pomegranate seeds to the bottom of the glass for garnish.

Add a few cranberries or pomegranate seeds to each glass then fill the glasses with one to two inches of water.

Add an inch or two of water to the bottom of the glass so that the bottom of the rosemary is submerged in the water. Repeat to make as many Christmas Tree Drinks as desired. Place in the freezer and freeze for a couple of hours or overnight until the ice is solid.

Freeze until solid then remove the string and tape.

Once you are ready to enjoy your Christmas cocktail, cut off the string or just snip off the top of the rosemary sprig to free it from the sting. Remove the tape and string and discard. Choose your favorite cocktail or mocktail recipe above or just use your favorite clear sparkling beverage. You want the beverage to be clear so that you can see the rosemary tree and I like the drink to be sparkling as it looks like snow 🙂

To make a cocktail or mocktail:
Each cocktail recipe or mocktail recipe above is one serving. Choose your favorite mixture, then add the ingredients in order topping with the sparkling beverage last, giving a gentle stir if needed.
