In reply to Cavoodle mum. My dogs and neighbours dogs are obsessed. I bake til they’re quite hard then let them cool and air out a few days on a wire rack and they last a long time. They’re almost petrified. They’ve never gone bad on me and I haven’t yet met a dog who isn’t in love with these!! Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. My fur baby just loves them. I actually put them in my cookie press. They are adorable. I do keep them in the freezer and give them to her from there. I am on my third batch.

In reply to Joann. Hi Joan, I wouldn't recommend it as it contains sugars and oils which are not good for our pups. In a pinch you can use it, but just ensure it does not contain xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.

We made with crunchy peanut butter and didn't bake to become too hard. Left them a little chewy and the doggies love!!

Turned out great! I added a bit of honey as well. Baked perfectly my husband tried them and said they’re good just bland(for him).
My fur baby LOVES them, and her opinion is the only one that matters.

In reply to Penny. Hi Penny, were you perhaps using peanut butter that contains added ingredients? For this recipe I recommend natural peanut butter which is the kind that you need to stir. The only ingredients should be peanuts. Natural peanut butter is much more liquidy so that could be the reason. If you did use natrual peanut butter and you still found it crumbly, try adding 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you reach the correct texture. I hope that helps!

These are tasty (so I'm told) and fun to make. They bake perfectly and hold their shape. I blizted the oats and the carrots separately in the food processor and then everything all together. Perfect dough, amazing consistency! Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Your peanut butter pumpkin treats are a hit with the pups! I don’t have any of my own but always make them as gifts. Question, I’m trying to find something without peanut butter…could I substitute peanut butter for applesauce? Could I add peas to this recipe for extra protein for our furry friends?

I recently tried one of these recipes and found that I can roll the dough right onto a silicone mat and bake the entire thing in one piece. I used a pizza cutter to cut into small squares as soon as I took it out of the oven and then let it cool. Maybe not as cute but so quick and easy and the dogs love them!

I use 2 silicone baking sheets to roll out the dough. IT DOESN'T STICK! Rolls very easy.
