I work at a dog/cat rescue and I made this recipe for all the dogs for Christmas. It made 60+ treats so every dog got one. They all LOVED it, even the picky ones!! Thank you for making their Christmas!

In reply to Cori. Hi Cori, It’s completely normal for the dough to bubble a bit while baking—it’s just steam escaping as the dough cooks, so there’s nothing to be concerned about. If you'd like to avoid this, you can prick the treats with a fork before baking to help prevent bubbles. Enjoy!

I added a few dashes of turmeric, fresh parsley and coconut oil to this recipe. And, added an additional amount of almond flower to make the consistency correct, and used it on the rolling surface to roll it out.

I’m assuming the oats in this recipe are uncooked. A number of sources warn that uncooked oats cause digestive problems. Any thoughts on this? I just made them, and I’m sure my puppy will love them, but I don’t want unnecessary digestive issues.

I doubled the batch and make a lot for all 4 of my fur babies! they wouldn't leave the kitchen the whole time they were baking. they were a huge hit in my house, thanks for sharing the recipe!

This made my goldendoodle very lethargic. He eats peanut butter and pumpkin. He might be allergic to the oatmeal.

I left bout half the oats whole for a bit more texture for my large girl and she LOVED them. I made extra dough to pop in the freezer to bake later! One recipe made 33 medium treats (so I can give 2 after walks).

made these today but with sweet potato super easy and cleanup is a breeze my 3 year old pitty loves them.
